The safety valve lid is located under the handle bar so that the steam is safely deflected downwards when it works. The gasket has minimal exposure to steam inside the cooker, does not rub every time the product is opened and closed – so lasts for a long time. Keep cool handles. Fixed strong pivot does not put pressure on the plastic handle as it is part of the metal handle. Thus the handles last longer.
